How these are made

Surf Haunts is made by people who have spent most of their lives on a board – skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing.

Each poster design starts with thorough research on a specific surf break, the surroundings, the unique landscape and landmarks. From there the design process begins. Every design is an original illustration and every artistic choice is directed by human hand. AI tools were used during the process.

The walk down the cliff, the rock you line up on, the light at seven in the morning – that's the starting point for every design.
