On Bali’s Canggu coast, Batu Bolong Beach sits beside the coastal temple of the same name.
The print looks along an ochre path beside dense green plants towards two small rooflines. Dark rock and turquoise water open out on the left. The buildings are simplified, with the path and vegetation taking up most of the foreground.
What this print shows
I built the composition around the path rather than the temple facade. Its diagonal pulls through a dense field of yellow-green leaves before reaching the two small roof forms. Dark rock anchors the opposite side, and the water creates a cool opening between them. The scale stays deliberately broad so the work reads as a coastal approach, not a reconstruction of religious architecture.
