Uluwatu and Siargao don't look alike. One is cut into a limestone cliff in Bali; the other is a reef pass in the Philippines that barely existed on a surf map twenty years ago. Both are painted the same way everything here is – from research, not a stock photo.
Five breaks across Bali, the Philippines and Japan, each identified by the way you reach or see the water.
On Bali’s limestone Bukit coast, Suluban Beach at Uluwatu is reached through narrow openings in the rock, and Padang Padang, also called Labuan Sait, through a rock passage and stairs. In Canggu, a coastal path leads past dense vegetation to Pura Batu Bolong, which Badung’s planning records place within Canggu Village. The three are gathered on the Bali collection page.
On Siargao in the Philippines, the Department of Tourism lists Cloud 9 at General Luna as a surfing site, known for its walkway and shelter. On Japan’s Shonan coast, the beach at Fujisawa faces Enoshima and its Sea Candle tower across Sagami Bay, with Mount Fuji behind it on clear days.
