Cocoa Beach Pier was built in 1962 on Florida’s Atlantic coast.
Seen from the sand, the print shows a broad building on dark pilings, with the deck narrowing towards a small shelter at the ocean end. Yellow umbrellas run across the middle. The buildings and supports are simplified, while the signs and business names are left out.
What this print shows
I used a low beach-level angle so the dark supports would carry the pier across the frame. The large building at left is reduced to pale and blue planes; six yellow umbrellas and one warm shelter provide smaller accents. Every sign, tenant name and commercial mark was omitted to keep the image independent.
